ladies and gentlmen i have returned
more than two months since my last post and i realise it is time for me to up date the world on my warped life.
since then i have become very attached to my girl friend. nuf said.
i have also survived my year 12 exams and am now awaiting my results. but there is a confession i must make. for the longest time there has been little that has scared me. untill now. i am afaid of what the future may bring. but there is nutin i can do about that. i must just go and persue and use what i have. the fact of moving away from home is daunting enough. but the most daunting thing is the idea of expecting to have to move out of home but not know for certain if i have to. so there is the first thing that i am afraid of.
but i am alsio afriad of all of the uncertainties coming my way. it would be nice if there were more yes that it how it will be instead of maybee that is what will happen. it is important to remeber that the way to happy ness may not be between A and B but may be from A all the way to Z via B,C,D ect.

i know that this is not the most intersting thing that you will read but please belive me when i say this. this is my message to all people. if there is one thing you learn from me it is be you and dont be afraid to be you. somtimes standing out from the crowd is the hardest thing to do in the world.

jeez
im not very good at posting regularly but i am back.
i have now realised that you can take nothing in life for granted or asume any thing. i will not go into details but my life i think is about to change. i recon that i will now have a new challenge facing me on the horizion.

since my last post my school has held their anual house athletics sports. this year i have succesfuly come 2nd in both of the house carnivals and that is an achivement. i competed in as many events as i thought i should, did my best, and competed in shorts, a shirt and a tie. all i have to say i dont care if people think that i have no respect for the event and that may be true but i think i had the most fun out of any one who did not even win an event. i proved my self as a sprinter in the 4 by 100 relay, suprised a few people in running the 400, threw my self into the javelin and shot put, and having not got back into conditioning prior to the day it meant i was at a disadvantage. oh yeh, i also competed in the hurdles (im about 5" 9' ) and it was a sight to behold.

ladies and gentlemen.

enjoy your life, good luck in what ever you do and rember. you dont have to please any one but your self

LADIES AND GENTLE MEN THE BRICK LOG IS BACK

after a long siesta i am back with avengance and i have decided to welcom you to my world. As a member of the scout assocaiation in Australia. and we now have a new uniform. i can see why change but there are alot of people unhappy with the change and the decsion has been made so lets get on with it.
the war in iraq was mentioned in my last blog (nearly 3 months ago) and what a farce. there was no WMD just a whole lot of PBS.
the world needs to stop listening to the usa but we will go so we can have their support in our times of need.

to update you on what will be happening with this blogg in the near future.
i will be commenting on the Swimming world chamionships, Athletics World Championships, Tour De France and the Rugby World Cup.
i will also update you on the exploits of an 18 year old doing year 12, what is happening with scouts, school and life.
in the lead up to the jamboree you will have updates on whats happening.
BUT WAIT THERES MORE
you will get my thought and discover what remains locked up in my head

See you out there

my time for comments

the Cricket world cup is well under way and it is looking like austrlia may be the first nation to go all the way through a would cup undefeated. i came 2nd in the under 21 age group campion and Batman, my house, won the house campionship.

but more is happening that i cannot ignore.

political unrest actualy leads to intresting things hapening, during the vietnam war the Socceroos played a veitnamese team in vietnam and it did wonders for the people. so here is a solution. find two sports where america and iraq are minnows and have them play off and the winner is the victor in the war and no shot is fired. but of course it aint going to happen so i will voice my opion and it will be six words "THERE HAS TO BE ANOTHER WAY"

long time no blog.

well computer troubbles solved and life conintues on. i return to school and go back to my life as the resident sports writer, swimming sports comming up on monday and it is obvious that i have my work cut out for me.
i was nominated for house captain and won the most votes but there was not enough people who voted for me to get house captain. so it was called for more nomiatnions and two people who did not realy want to be house captain were nominated and got house captain and vice. but the vice captain is just basking in his glory, left to him by his brother.
now i belive it is time for idocy to stop. it is time for the decsion makers and powers to be to let the teachers just pick two individuals who would do the best job. it ends up now that i effectivly have the role of Vice Captian but i am not.

my second comment is on adam gircrest. daren lehman got suspeded for racail vilivaction but the pakistani wicket keeper made a blantly racail commnet (white ?????) but got away with it. he then proceded to threaten to sue the ACB. in my opion this is not fair and should be lookd at very seriously but the power brokers in world cricket

untill next time, keep watching the sport, and belive in what you think is right no matter what others say

i havnt posted for over a week so this will belive it or not be short.

following the controvesy surronding the racism by darren lehman, i am thinking that i need to comment.
darren lehman has been accused of being a racisit and murili murlilitilan claiming that he will place a cluase in his new contract that he will not tour australia again. YAY.
but my mind thinks back. a number of years ago austrlia was drawn to play spain at home in the davis cup. our players were sledged and theatened phyiscal violence and were caused to be scared by this. now after this the ITF critisiced the fans but no further action was taken. when austrlia vistits a number of countries we have to bear the grunt of the violence and hate. but as we are anglos it is not racism nor does it cuase an up roar.
i personaly belive that we need to take a step back. being abused by the crowd is part of sport. not nessacry but it is part of sport. all sports people should just grin and bear it and accept that where ever they go there will be some one who does not like them.

i ask for common sence to prevail or austrlia will not go any where ecpt for europ and america.
for the sake of world sport we need these people to compete and we need for the world to get a girp. they are one part of a team and they need to accept that there is viloence in the world and sport is not exempt

now i have more time to post my expeirnces over the last coupple of days.

yesterday i went to the austrlain open for the first time. it was an intersting experience and i will be visting melbourne park again.
i thougt as i arrived that it would be a matter of choosing one court and staying there for the day. as it turns out you can do that but you can also move about the courts and there is even activites for all people to participate in.

the most memorable match was the Jiri Novak vs Olivier Rochus which had a spetacular score line of 7-6 (7-3) 7-6 (7-5) 4-6 4-6 6-3
. now if that is not spectatcular enough for you the match commenced at 4:15 and finished at approximatly 7:50, 3 and a 1/2 hrs later. now this might not seem verry long but to be giving your all and running arround with limited breaks it takes a toll and it was an amazing match. at the end of the game the two players reivied a standing ovation and the crowed showed how much they apriciated the effort the players put in.

mean while during the day i traveled arround watching the outside courts and gained an apreciation of why the game of tennis is so hard. even up in the stands in the shade we felt the heat but i was obvious that one of the hardest jobs would be that of the linesmen and ball boys (and i will use the same terminology for males and females). they have to stand in the heat with limited rest periods for at least 45 minintues. the hardest bit would be the degree of concentration required as they have to listen to what the chair umpire says and then they have to do as he says and the boy boys have the envinable task of trying to follow which end that they have to get the 6 balls to between a change of serve.

my final word on tennis is this. the view is better at the venue provided you dont have a small bar or post blocking you view and you have a greater apprication for the sport
